Working in Paraguay: jobs, remote work and starting a company
Since July 1, 2026, the legal minimum wage in the private sector is ₲3,044,000 a month (about 513 USD), according to the Ministry of Labour (Decreto N° 6225). The migration law (Ley 6984/22) lets you work from the Residencia Precaria card, issued while your temporary residency is processed. These guides cover status, remote work, starting a company and tax; each names its sources and the date we checked them.
